A lot of us are waiting for the new installment of the series, some of us even played the Japanese version already(MH4G). I'm all excited abut the new riding and new terrain use cause this opens up a new approach to the game.
The game has the most number of monsters when compared to previous titles, so what I've concluded is that there is more time allotment to this more than ever. Knowing Monster Hunter this will just take hundreds or maybe even thousands of hours of gameplay.
Weapon's have either been changed, improved, nerfed or whatever you may call it, it's still up to you and your play style. Don't let other people on the net get you down if they say something bad about your main weapon cause everyone's entitled on their own opinion. If you enjoy the weapon then that's what Monster Hunter is all about.
I've never played online Monster Hunter before saying so this will be my first time delving and hunting with players around the world which is a good thing cause you can always hunt with a hunting buddy and lessen the burden of quests. Of course there are still some solo players that would like to improve their monster-soloing capabilities because if you can't rely on others, you only have to improve yourself.
So there are two new weapons added. I've watched a ton of gameplay about the Charge Blade and Insect Glaive and to me this adds more depth to the game having more weapon options than ever before.
Enough said, this game is one of the most anticipated games of its kind. I'll be looking forward to hunting with you guys. Just keep'em coming and keep'em carving! Happy hunting!
